From fashion campaigns, editorial assignments, entertainment portraiture, to just about the most uncanny of subjects, Rush never shies away from whatever challenges are presented to him. His ability to bridge the subject to the settings on hand and give the image it’s creative narrative is what sets him apart from his peers. To further refine his visual sensibilities he graduated from Art Center College of Design, where he received professional insights from industry leaders such as Jeff Sedlik and Ann Cutting, further enriching his growth and his ability to perform at a professional level.

Graduated Art Center College of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography & Imaging in the Fall of 2006.
Rush’s earliest visual influence came from the theatre through his experience at Hollywood High School’s Performing Arts Magnet. The visual language conveyed in performances through dramatic, theatrical lighting and bold uses of color influence his aesthetic sensibilities to this day, as the world opens up in a great dance from which to draw inspiration.
Based in downtown Los Angeles, Rush will travel anywhere in the world for the love of creating the best images possible.

Art films that encourage my day dreams and by life’s realities that come from observations as I walk about downtown streets, eavesdrop on cafe conversation, or read into the photographs that accompany the latest news headlines is where I find my inspiration. I perceive myself as an observer, taking mental notes and more than often, using my cellphone’s camera when compelled to freeze a slice of life that can be a catalyst for a present or future project.
I find working on location most exciting as it opens up a great visual dialogue that often results in capturing something wondrously unexpected, even magical.
